The 2001 Parallel Whip in Cypress Pony/Ivory Leather is the darkest read in the Whip range — deep green-black pony hair that shifts between forest and shadow depending on the angle. The cypress tone only fully reveals itself in direct light, which gives the shoe a quality that solid black leather can't touch. Ivory leather stripes with hand-finished whipstitch cut across the midfoot, providing the only contrast in a deliberately restrained palette. Waterproof before the first wear and top up now and then. Suede: dry brush and waterproof spray. Leather: a damp cloth, with leather cream occasionally. Canvas: cold water and mild soap. No washing machine.
